Abstract:
To provide an electron tube capable of improving voltage resistance performance and being easily manufactured.SOLUTION: An electron tube 1 comprises a housing 2 having a hermetically sealed internal space R, and a cathode K as an electrode for energy generation or detection due to electron emission in the internal space R. The housing 2 comprises a body part 5 which is composed of an insulating material and in which a recess 9 constituting the internal space R is formed, and a lid part 6 provided in the body part 5 so as to close an opening 9b of the recess 9. The recess 9 enlarges as it heads to the opening 9b side. A penetration member 3 electrically connected to the cathode K and penetrating the body part 5 is fixed to the body part 5. The penetration member 3 penetrates the body part 5, and includes an internal space protrusion 11 protruding from a bottom surface 9a of the recess 9 into the internal space R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
