In the electronic apparatus, battery drive is made possible, and it is configured so that a peak shift control application (a power source management function) 33 carries out power source management based upon setting information set with an AC power source use prohibiting period prohibiting use of an AC power source. A state determining part 31A determines whether or not there is a schedule to use the electronic apparatus by battery drive when the AC power source is connected to the electronic apparatus. A power source control part 31B carries out charging of the battery by using the AC power source even when the present time corresponds to the AC power source use prohibiting period when it is determined that there is a schedule to use the electronic apparatus by battery drive in the state determining part 31A.
