In an imaging apparatus, which is a kind of an electronic apparatus, a plurality of icons as well as an input image are displayed on a display having a touch panel function. A case where the imaging apparatus is determined not to be underwater is set as a reference. When the imaging apparatus is determined to be underwater, a method for displaying a particular icon included in the display icons is changed. For example, when the imaging apparatus is determined to be underwater, a display size of the particular icon is increased, or display positions of the particular icons are concentrated in a right side of a display screen, or a color of the particular icon is changed into a non-red color, for example, green and the like.
