Abstract:
To provide an electronic apparatus which has a rotary operation member capable of detecting rotation so as to prevent such situations that the rotation operation is not effective and erroneous operation and the like occur even if iron sand adheres to the vicinity of a rotary magnet.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes: a magnetic field generation member (251) whose magnetic pole changes at a prescribed pitch following rotation of a rotary operation member (260); a magnetic field detection unit (121) which can detect a magnetic field (301) in a prescribed direction; calculation means which calculates a rotation amount of the rotary operation member (260) and a rotation direction of the rotary operation member (260) in accordance with a change amount of the magnetic field (301) in the prescribed direction; and a base member (210) which holds the magnetic field detection unit (121). At least one of the rotary operation member (260) and the base member (210) is provided with a protrusion part (201). The protrusion part (201) is provided between the rotary operation member (260) and the base member (210).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
