PURPOSE: To protect a compressor against electrolytic corrosion thereby protecting a connecting pipe against damage, to protect the root of a cold finger against vibration while shielding the solar heat thus enhancing the heat resistance, and to prevent dew formation in the appliance.

CONSTITUTION: A chassis 4 of an electronic appliance having an optical system, where the outer cover 18 and a radiator fin 19 constitute a double structure, is fixed with a compressor located in the chassis 4. The radiator fin 19 is disposed in the double structure. A temperature/humidity sensor is disposed on the inside of the chassis 4 and the data delivered from the sensor is operated by an operating circuit 25. A control circuit 27 for controlling the temperature of cooling air 12 and an air-conditioner 26 also provided. The cooling air 12 is blown to the radiator fin 19.
