To provide an electronic canvas device which permits particularly the plotting of not only a presentation but also a full-color picture or the like in regard to an apparatus made by extending an electronic blackboard used in a meeting or the like.

The canvas device comprises: a writing tool capable of color mixing; a writing sheet 2 permitting the writing of mixed colors by using the writing tool; a main body which holds the writing sheet; a leg part 8 which supports the main body; a reading device 3 which reads a written image on a writing surface; a storage means which stores a read picture; and an eraser which erases the written image. Further, in order to facilitate the plotting, such a structure that the writing surface can be inclined back and forth, and left and right is provided.
