To provide electric component mounting equipment having a multi- nozzle type transfer head which is advantageous in electronic component recognition.

A transfer head 10 is provided with a main body part 12 that rotates with an inclined shaft 14 at the center. The main body part 12 is provided with a plurality of nozzles 13, and each nozzle 13 independently moves vertically and performs θ rotation. When the main body part 12 rotates having the inclined shaft 14 at the center, the nozzle 13 assumed the vertical attitude position (a) and the horizontal attitude position (b). An electronic component 8 is picked up and mounted on a board 7 at the position (a). At the position (b), the electronic component 8 is recognized by a camera 22 of a recognition unit 20. When the nozzle 13 is picking up the electronic component 8 at the position (a), the nozzle 13 which previously picked up the electronic component 8 has shifted to the position (b). Therefore, picking up and recognition of the electronic component 8 can be performed in parallel.
