The electronic control device includes an information processing apparatus and a storage medium, and operates in either of operation modes, a sleep mode or a wake mode. The information processing apparatus (A) writes, into an predetermined continuous address area on a volatile memory, evacuation request data read when the operation mode of the electronic control device is changed to the wake mode while the operation mode of the electronic control device is the wake mode, (B) temporarily evacuates the evacuation request data stored in the continuous address area to a nonvolatile memory when the operation mode of the electronic control device is changed over to the sleep mode from the wake mode, and (C) writes the evacuation request data evacuated to the nonvolatile memory into the continuous address area when the operation mode of the electronic control device is changed over to the wake mode from the sleep mode.
