PURPOSE: To improve serviceability and to reduce the overall size of an electronic copying machine, by unilizing a development and a paper feeding system respectively, and making them independent of the copying machine body and attaching and detaching them easily.

CONSTITUTION: The developing unit 7 which has a photoreceptor 9, developing device 10, cleaning device 11, etc., and the paper feeding unit 8 which has a form dish 18, form conveying device 20, and transferring device 21 are made independent of each other, and attached and detached to and from the main body 1 easily. The main body 1 incorporates a platen 2, exposure lamp 4, optical system 5, fixing device 6, etc. Thus, the main body is reduced in size and the units 7 and 8 are drawn out to be inspected or repaired.
