Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate summing up of data and to secure secrecy.

CONSTITUTION: Each time an operator operates a count key 6c, a CPU 1 counts the operation and its counter value is recorded in an IC module at specific intervals of timer time together with the summing start time. After the summing ends, the IC module is detached and the totalized data are transferred to a host computer. Thus, the need for recording on a form is eliminated, so the data are easily totalized without being misinputted, and the secrecy of the data is kept.
