Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device 1 capable of preventing a short circuit between a conductive part 43 of an electronic component 40 and a heat sink 20.SOLUTION: An electronic device 1 comprises a heat sink 20 on the side opposite to an electronic component 40 mounted on a substrate 30 across a radiation gel 50. The electronic component 40 has a conductive part 43 electrically connected to a chip and an insulation part 44 for molding the chip and the conductive part 43. The heat sink 20 has a non-contact surface 25 which faces the conductive part 43 of the electronic component 40 across the radiation gel 50 and a contact surface 24 which is located closer to the substrate than the non-contact surface 25 and which can contact the insulation part 44. This prevents contact of the conductive part 43 of the electronic component 40 with the non-contact surface 25 of the heat sink 20 when the insulation part 44 of the electronic component 40 contacts the contact surface 24 of the heat sink 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
