To provide an electronic device module having reinforced countermeasures against electrostatic discharge (ESD) compared to conventional modules.
A transparent conductive film 14 having a sawtooth pattern is disposed on a polarizing plate 6 of a STN (super-twisted nematic) liquid crystal display panel 1. The transparent conducive film 14 is formed in a region separated by a prescribed distance from a driver mount region 24 where a driver 23 is mounted. The film thickness T and width W of the transparent conductive film 14 establish relations of (square root of 2)×T<(1/4)×λ and (square root of 2)×W<(1/4)×λ with respect to wavelength λ. Thus, charges by ESD occurring in a display region 22 can be prevented from infiltrating the STN liquid crystal display panel 1.
