Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device configured to properly execute backup of data, a backup storage determination program, and a backup program.SOLUTION: An MFP configured to execute an application for executing backup of data in storing the data includes: backup storage determination means 44 which determines a backup storage where the data is backed up, from among a plurality of storages; and backup data management means 45 which backs up data, in response to a backup request from the application, on the backup storage determined by the backup storage determination means 44. The backup storage determination means 44 determines a storage having an access speed equal to or higher than a specific speed as a storage for backup of the data with frequency of use equal to or higher than specific frequency of use, and determines a storage having an access speed less than the specific speed as a storage for backup of the data with frequency of use less than the specific frequency of use (S114).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
