A notebook-size personal computer comprises: a hybrid pack 10 serving as the power supply and having a battery 11 as a secondary battery, a battery protection IC 12 controlling the battery 11, the fuel cell 13 having a power generating body generate power by electrochemically reacting given fuel with air and a fuel cell controller 14 for controlling the fuel cell 13; and a computer body 20 having at least a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 21 conducting various processing and consuming power. In the hybrid pack 10, the battery protection IC 12 and the fuel cell controller 14 mutually give and receive, through a bus 30, at least information on remain battery capacity indicative of the remain capacity of the battery 11 and information on a fuel cell state indicative of the state of the fuel cell 13.
