To provide electronic equipment capable of reducing the weight of shock-resistant structure, and securing sufficient shock resistance even when the whole equipment is enlarged.
This equipment is equipped with a timepiece body 1; a pair of elastic buffer members 10 arranged on the right-and-left both sides of the timepiece body 1, and having each upper-and-lower end 10a projecting respectively to the upper and lower directions of the timepiece body 1; and a wire rod 16 for connecting with a prescribed tension, each right-and-left end 10a facing mutually of the pair of elastic buffer members 10. Hereby, when the pair of buffer members 10 arranged on the right-and-left both sides of the timepiece body 1 receive a strong impact from the outside by dropping or the like, the impact from the outside can be dispersed and absorbed by the tension of the wire rod 16 and the elastic force of the buffer members 10. The weight of the shock-resistant structure can be reduced by using the wire rod 16, and thereby even when the whole timepiece is enlarged, sufficient shock resistance can be secured.
