Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the overheating, smoke, and ignition of a printer by letting the electronic equipment having a processing circuit and a printer with the simple circuitry to inform a user of the application of the voltage higher than the rate voltage for the electronic equipment when receiving the power from the external power supply.
CONSTITUTION: When the voltage across a first connection terminal 6 and a common terminal 8 is higher than the total of the breakdown voltage of a constant voltage diode 12 and the voltage in the forward direction across emitter-base of a transistor 14, the transistor 14 becomes conducting and a signal CP inputted from a processing circuit 16 is kept at a high level 'H'.
