PURPOSE: To enable 8 user to freely control the numerical changing speed and to facilitate the operating input of an electronic equipment by controlling the changing speed of the numerical control information of a device in accordance with the operating force of an input means detected by an operating force detector means.

CONSTITUTION: The desired number of copies is inputted with the ten keys 105 of an operating part 101 and a desired magnification is decided with use of an UP key 107 and a DOWN key 108. Then the copy density is decided with an UP key 110 and a DOWN key 111 in accordance with the density of an original 204. When the copying conditions are decided, the original 204 is put on the original glass 203. Then an original pressure plate 200 is closed and a copy key 103 is pushed. Thus a copying machine starts its copying operation. The optical systems 205 and 206 scan the original 204 and form the images on a CCD 210 through a lens 209. The CCD 210 performs a photoelectric transducing operation and processes the picture signals with the magnification set by a picture processing circuit 211. Then the CCD 210 processes the picture signals in the set density. The converted signals ere sent to a printer 202 and recorded on a photosensitive drum 217 with a laser 213.
