Title:
ELECTRONIC LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION MACHINE FOR NON-SPECIFIED SPEAKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60112178
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a device which can operate even by input of a dialect word by replacing specific sound codes in accordance with a using district, correcting and encoding them to the standard pronounciation, storing the standard pronounciation, and comparing it with words in a memory as a translated word. CONSTITUTION:A standard pronounciation code for a pronounciation by a dialect word is stored in A-C district input codes 4-6 of an electronic language instruction machine. When an operator sets an A district mode switch 1, and inputs a pronounciation in the A district from a sound input part 10, in order to use the machine in the A district, the pronounciation code is stored in a memory I 12 through an encoder 11. Since a memoryII15 does not include this code, an A district detection code 7 is transmitted to a specific code detection part 13, and a head of the pronounciation code is searched according to the contents of the memory I 12. When the head can be found, the A district input code 4 is transmitted to a specific code input part 14, the head of the pronounciation code in the memory I 12 is replaced with the standard pronounciation code. Thus a dialect word can be replaced with a standard word, and a code corresponding to translated words is searched and displayed on a display part 17.
