An electronic mail processing part 11 of an electronic mail service manager 5 receives an electronic mail from an electronic mail client 1 and then reads, interprets and processes the file transfer command script added to the received electronic mail via a file transfer command script processing part 12. Then the part 11 receives the file transferred from the client 1 via a file transfer processing part 13. The data file transferred from the client 1 is stored in file server disk 6 that is designated separately from the ordinarily electronic mails and undergoes the access control only via the part 13.
