Title:
ELECTRONIC NOTEBOOK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60176135
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic notebook where mis-registration is not produced even when the writing and the order of write are different depending on individuals by storing a character written on a writing input section almost as it is and displaying it as it is as required.

CONSTITUTION: The titled notebook consists of a display section D using liquid crystal and an input section W comprising the lamination of a conductive rubber 1, a thin copper plate 2 and a sheet form carbon resistor 3. In writing a suitable character or the like on a writing paper sheet 5 of the input section W by a ball point pen or the like, since the part of the conductive rubber 1 pressed in this writing is made conductive, a current value of a resistor R1 is changed. This current value changes the current ratio of currents flowing between electrodes 3A, 3B, between 3C, 3D and between 3E, 3F depending on the position applied with the writing pressure, the change depends on the resistor 3 and then the position applied with the writing pressure is discriminated and detected. Since it is detected in synchronizing with the time division pitch of the supply current of the electrodes 3AW3F, the result is detected as a timewise consecutive line, that is, a locus of the writing pressure. The character written in this way is displayed on the display section D.
