To accommodate a plug-in module in a module support and to securely fix it.
The electronic plug-in module to be accommodated in a module support 1 with a module rail 2 in the front region includes a wiring board 6, a wiring board holder 17 and an adapter 10. The adapter 10 includes a receptacle 12 to accept a mounting member 13 to be screwed in a hole 2a of the module rail 2 in order to mount the adapter 10 on the module rail 2. The wiring board holder 17 is fixed on the wiring board 6 in the front corner region 18 of the wiring board 6. The wiring board holder 17 includes a coupling structure 26 that is coupled to a corresponding coupling element 23 of the adapter 10 in order to produce a coupling between the wiring board holder 17 and the adapter 10. In an end position of the plug-in module 5 in the module support 1, the adapter 10 and the wiring board holder 17 cooperate in such a way that the plug-in module 5 is held in its position in the module support 1.
