Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the complicated work of manual writing of a receipt or a label unnecessary by providing a digit adding means for adding a predetermined digit to the last digit of the printing data, and making the number of digits of the display value of a display part agreed with the number of digits of the printing value of a printer. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 10 provided in a display device 8 is opened in accordance with the rise of prices to extend the pre-printed zeros by a necessary number of digits. Accordingly, the display of a unit price display part 9b and a price display part 9c are agreed with the actual state of economy. If the number of digits of the unit price or the price displayed on a label 26 by a label printer is kept as it is even after the display digit of the unit price display part 9b, etc., is changed, the number of digits of the value displayed by the display part 9 becomes different from that of the value printed on the label 26. Therefore, if the number of digits of the unit price display part 9b or the like is increased, the number of digits of each of a unit price storing area 23 and a price storing area 24 of a text data 21 is increased as well, so that the number of digits of the unit price and the price printed on the label 26 is agreed with that of the unit price and the price displayed by the display part 9.
