Abstract:
To provide an electronic settlement system allowing easy and safe payment.
An authentication server 2 performs identity authentication according to a request from a client 1. When the authentication is admitted, the authentication server 2 transmits personal information of a customer DB 201 to a settlement server 3. The settlement server 3 authenticates whether the received personal information and account information of an account DB 301 accord or not, performs payment processing about a prescribed charge when the authentication is admitted, and notifies an adjustment server 4 about a result thereof.
