PURPOSE: To allow a plurality of vessels of different sizes to be contained and to cool without lowering thermoelectric efficiency by forming all or part of vessel containing chambers in vessel containing chambers of different sizes.

CONSTITUTION: A clod storage unit 2 of a refrigerator 1 has a vessel support 6 of substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. A plurality of cylindrical vessel containing chambers 9 - 13 are provided in the support 6, and vessels 14 - 18 are so formed as to be able to contain in one lateral row. The interiors of the respective vessel containing chambers have different depths, formed in advance in vessels to be contained, and formed in depths for easily removing the vessels by exposing the heads of the vessels from the support 6. An inner radiator 19, an outer radiator 20, a Peltier element 21 as thermoelectric cooling element, and a heat exchanger 3 composed of a fan 22 are secured to the case 23 of the refrigerator 1, and the vessel containing chamber of the support 6 is cooled by the exchanger 3. Thus, it can be cooled without reducing thermoelec tric efficiency.
