Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent malfunction due to electrostatic discharge in an electronic switch for detecting an object electrified with static electricity.
CONSTITUTION: A printed circuit board 3 is inserted between a lower case 1 and an upper case 2 to constitute an electronic switch. This electronic switch is provided with a through-hole 4 for detecting an object 7 and a protrusion 3c of the printed circuit board 3 is provided for constituting a wall surface of the through-hole 4. A current collection pattern 3d is formed in the protrusion 3c and connected to a stable potential point of a proximity switch via a discharge pattern 3e. When an object 7 electrified with static electricity passes, electric discharge to the stable potential is conducted via the current collection pattern 3d and the discharge pattern 3e. Accordingly, damage to an internal circuit of the proximity switch and malfunction can be prevented.
