Abstract:

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the case with a higher measuring accuracy, by connecting a connection cord direct to a thermometer body designed to serve as a cord reel using a solder or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A woman's clinical thermometer is made up of an upper case 1 and a lower case 2 composing a flat box case, a thermometer body 3 retained therebetween, a connection cord 4 wound on the circumference of the body 3 and a temperature detecting probe 5 mounted at the tip of the connection cord as bent in L. The base of the cord 4 is pulled out of the circumference of the body 3 as fixed direct to the inside of the body 3 and connect direct to the internal circuit of the body 3 using a solder or the like thereby elevating the measuring accuracy and the reliability. This also can reduce the number of parts thereby miniaturizing the case.
