To achieve button switch structure for obtaining proper operation feeling and secure conduction by using a switch lever member with an elastic part having a projecting part and a circuit-pressing member that is twisted and pressed when the circuit conducts electricity.

In an electronic timepiece, a switch lever 7 that is operated by a button 8 is provided with, for example, an elastic part 7b where a projecting shape is formed at a tip part and is engaged to a bolt pin 9 with initial deflection. Then, when the button 8 is pressed with fingers, the switch lever 7 starts rotating and a click is generated when a projecting part 7a exceeds the pin 9. After that, when the button 8 continues to be pressed, a switch lever circuit presser plate pressing part 7d deflects a circuit presser plate elastic part 10a for switching. Due to structure where the actuation of the button 8 is absorbed by the twisting of an elastic part 10a as in the setting of each contact part further apart one another and the formation of the elastic part 10a itself at a thin plate, no chattering or the like is generated.
