Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize the size in the width and/or the longitudinal direction by using a metal ring for support of an electrode in the inside of a tube and for electric connection and using a ceramic ring for electric insulating of the metal ring and for physical separation. CONSTITUTION: This electron tube is constituted as a cathode-ray tube and the tube is formed so as to comprise a neck of which at least a part is formed as a stack constituted of supporting metal rings 60, 80, 100, 110 and ceramic rings 30, 70, 90. The metal rings 60, 80, 100, 110 are used as to support various kinds of electrodes in the inside of the tube and as to electrically connect the electrodes and the ceramic rings 30, 70, 90 are used as to electrically insulate the metal rings 60, 80, 100, 110 and physically separate the metal rings. Further, the metal rings 60, 80, 100, 110 are soldered to the ceramic rings 30, 70, 90 as to keep vacuum air-tightness and comprise the inside parts of the tube to be used as supporting bodies of the electrode G1-G3 and outside parts to be used for electric connection with the outside. Consequently, the size in the width and/or the longitudinal direction can be miniaturized.
