PURPOSE: To provide an electronic typesetting system capable of shortening a working time necessary for a typesetting work and making the typesetting work easy and simple, and also capable of repeatedly using data.

CONSTITUTION: The MS-DOS format conversion of various kinds of data inputted in an office computer 1 on a transmitter side A installed at a motorboat race park is performed by a personal computer 2, and then, it is directly transmitted to a personal computer 8 through telephone set 5, 7 and a telephone line 6. Thus, the working time necessary for the typesetting work is shortened by eliminating the need of inputting respective data in an electronic typesetting device 9 on a receiver side B again, and the work personnel are reduced and the typesetting work is made easy and simple. And also, the data base processing of data received by the personal computer 8 on the receiver side B is performed so as to repeatedly use respective data.
