Abstract:

To provide an electronic voting device ensuring the protection of secrets about voting by voters, and having enhanced operability.

The electronic voting device is so formed that a voice produced by mixing the voice information (guide voice reading the names of candidates and the like) needed for visually impaired people to vote with external sounds around the device is transmitted by a voice guidance system having a closed headphone. Thus, the device can be arranged to protect the privacy of voting as the privacy of individuals and promote barrier-free voting for vision impaired people so as to hold smooth and fair elections.
