Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical unit which electrically connects electronic parts to an electrooptical panel in a proper manner and to provide an electronic equipment using the unit.
SOLUTION: In the electrooptical unit 100 mounted on a portable telephone, a flexible substrate 70 is mounted on a liquid crystal panel 400 by an anisotropic electrically conductive film and the rear surface terminals of the substrate 70 are electrically connected to the terminals made of an ITO film of the panel 400. Capacitors 91 are mounted on front surface side terminals 72 that are electrically connected to the rear surface side terminals through through-holes by soldering. Connector electrodes of a rubber connector are pressure contacted to the terminals 72 in order to make electric connections to a circuit substrate.
