Abstract:
To provide a full-automatic two-dimensional electrophoresis method for miniaturizing the apparatus including peripheral equipment and facilitating handling.
Mixture of wide-region buffer liquid employing a sample and amphoteric electrolyte is introduced into all channels including one micro flow channel for separation without a sample introduction system produced on a substrate and a plurality of parallel micro flow channels for separation crossing it, and two-dimensional electrophoresis is performed. A capillary type electrode system is employed where an electrode is integrated with a vessel (capillary, two plates combined via a spacer) having a clearance showing capillarity, sucks a predetermined electrode liquid, and holds it.
