Abstract:

To provide an electrophoresis device for achieving both of reduction of power consumption and improvement of display quality.

The electrophoresis device includes an electrophoresis element, and a drive circuit (242) for supplying drive power to the electrophoresis element. The drive circuit includes a main driver (10), and sub-drivers (12, 14) for selecting propriety of output by a control signal. More preferably, the drive circuit further includes AND circuit (16, 18) for calculating a logical product of a selection signal for instructing propriety of output by the sub-driver and an enable signal instructing propriety of supply of the drive power. An output signal of the AND circuit is input in the sub-driver as the control signal.
