Abstract:

To provide an electrophoresis display device in which a conductive connection member between boards never damages a thin-film semiconductor circuit layer and which is very flexible.

The electrophoresis display device includes a semiconductor circuit board (10) which has the thin-film semiconductor circuit layer (12), including a plurality of driving electrodes, on one surface of a flexible board (11), a transparent electrode board (30) which has a transparent electrode layer (32) formed on one surface of a transparent board (31) and is arranged having the transparent electrode layer oppositely to the thin-film semiconductor circuit layer (12), an electrophoresis display layer (20) arranged between the thin-film semiconductor layer (12) and transparent electrode layer (32), and the inter-board connection member (22) which electrically connects the transparent electrode layer (32) of the transparent electrode board to the circuit terminal (14) of the thin-film semiconductor circuit board, and the inter-board connection member (22) is made of a conductive adhesive which does not contain conductive particles harder than the thin-film semiconductor circuit layer (12). Damage to the thin-film semiconductor circuit layer (12) that conductive particles cause is avoided.
