Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device having an enough long life of a photoreceptor with which an excellent image can be obtd., by incorpo rating a specified resin and a conductive powder, subjecting the conductive powder to surface treatment with a coupling agent having reactive acryl groups or methacryl groups, and electrifying by injection charging.
SOLUTION: The surface layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a conductive powder and a resin which is prepared by polymerizing hardening-type acryl monomers or oligomers having reactive acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups. The conductive powder is subjected to surface treatment with a coupling agent having reactive acryloyl groups or methacryloyl groups. The electrophotographic device is electrified by injection charging. By using the resin prepared by polymn. of hardening-type acrylic monomers or oligomers for the surface layer and by the surface treatment of a conductive powder, injection property of charges is significantly improved, and good electrification property and high durability of the photoreceptor can be obtd.
