To provide a durable photoreceptor in which image quality is not degraded even when used in a tandem system by incorporating at least a copolymerized polycarbonate resin into the surface layer of a monolayer type or laminate type electrophotographic photoreceptor.
At least, a copolymerized polycarbonate resin is incorporated into the surface layer of a monolayer type or laminate type electrophotographic photoreceptor. The copolymerized polycarbonate resin contains a copolymerized structure consisting essentially of a bisphenol A polycarbonate and a polycarbonate having at least one constituent unit of formula I or II. In the formula I, R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom an aliphatic group, a carbocyclic group, a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group, R3-R10 are each hydrogen atom, halogen, an aliphatic group or an aromatic group, and (n) is a number of 10-1,000 except following case, R1=R2=CH3 and R3=R4=R5=R6=R7=R8=R9= R10=H. In the formula II, A is an aromatic group and (n) is an integer of 1-4.
