Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in using an LED array in an electrophotographic device as exposure means, when the quantity of light in a high light quantity area is used for image formation, electric charges remaining in a photoreceptor causes a ghost image, and when latent image design is performed in a low light quantity area, image unevenness due to variations in light quantity occurs.SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, an electrophotographic device is provided that has a minimum value of the normalized radius of curvature R in a normalization graph of the E-V curve of 0.24 or less, and when the light quantity when the normalized radius of curvature R becomes the minimum value is defined as Emin [μJ/cm2], performs exposure at a light quantity with which the average light quantity of a light-emitting diode array satisfies 0.8×Emin or more and 1.1×Emin or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
