PURPOSE: To perform uniform transfer by providing a member in a lattice shape or a stripe shape which supports a transfer material from below and is set up so that it can cover at least one part of an aperture part in a corona discharging unit near a transfer point in the area of a transfer means.

CONSTITUTION: The member 20 in a lattice shape or in a stripe shape which supports the transfer material 2 from below and also is set up so as to cover at least one part of the aperture part in the corona discharging unit 4 is provided near the transfer point. Though the omission of transfer and the deviation of transfer drastically depend on power for pressing the transfer material against a photosensitive body 1(including power for attracting the transfer material with electrostatic force by the photosensitive body), the omission of transfer, the deviation of transfer and the fine unevenness of transfer can be prevented from occurring by pressing the transfer material 2 against the photosensitive body 1 by the member 20 in a lattice shape or a strip shape simultaneously with corona discharging near the transfer point. Thus, the uniform transfer can be performed without receiving the effect of the difference of rigidity of the transfer material 2, the presence or absence of waviness and humidity conditions, etc.
