To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a high sensitivity and a low residual potential and coating liquid for charge transportation of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
In an electrophotographic photoreceptor having both a charge generating layer including a charge generating substance and a charge transporting layer including a charge transporting substance, on a conductive base material; the charge generating substance contains a phthalocyanine compound including phthalocyanine and the charge transporting substance contains both the electrophotographic photosensitive body including the benzidine derivative expressed by the formula and the charge liquid for charge transportation making the benzidine derivative expressed by the formula as the charge transporting substance. In the formula, R1 denotes independently a hologen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, aryl group, fluoroalkyl group, or fluoroalkoxy group; and two R2s denote independently hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups, and m is an integer from 0 to 5, and a plurality of R1s may be the same or different.
