To provide a photoreceptor which is excellent in terms of film strength and electrophotographic characteristics by using specified charge transport material and binder resin, it is required for the photoreceptor to have the film strength because the photoreceptor comes into contact with a developing roller and an intermediate transfer belt, etc., in a color electrophotographic device.

The electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 is composed of a charge generating layer 12 formed on a conductive supporting body 11, and a charge transport layer 13 having a specified structure, constituted of the charge transport material and the binder resin whose viscosity average molecular weight is ≥30,000 formed on the layer 12. Besides, the photoreceptor is used for the color electrophotographic device.
