Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost electrophotographic photoreceptor having a high degree of freedom of a usable electric charge generating material without adversely affecting photosensitivity and electrification property, having high durability and exhibiting satisfactory sigmoid light induced potential attenuation characteristics. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor is provided with an electric charge generating layer and a non-uniform electric charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive substrate. The electric charge transferring layer contains a block copolymer or a graft copolymer contg. at least electric charge transferring blocks having a triarylamine structure and insulating blocks in the repeating units and in which the electric charge transferring blocks and the insulating blocks are in a phase separated state.
