Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in durability including wear resistance and scratch resistance and can stably supply images with high image quality, and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus provided with the same.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor of the present invention is an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a conductive support and a photosensitive layer and a surface protective layer sequentially laminated on the conductive support. The surface protective layer contains a cured material, and metal oxide fine particles that are surface-modified with a hole transport compound having a structure in which a hole transport group and an acidic group are connected by a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon group, and the cured material is a reaction product of a charge transport compound having at least one substituent selected from -OH, -OCH3, and -COOH and at least one of a guanamine compound and a melamine compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
