Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that includes an outermost layer maintaining an excellent property for a long period even when a material species susceptible to modification by an acidic gas is contained in the outermost surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor, shows extremely less oxidation degradation after a long-term use, causes less defects related to quality of images output from an image forming apparatus, and maintains excellent image quality for a long period.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic photoreceptor including photosensitive layers 23 and 24 and a surface layer 25 in this order on a conductive support 21, wherein the surface layer 25 contains inorganic particles, and the electrophotographic photoreceptor has an amount of NOadsorption of 0.25 μl/cmor less after being left standing for 24 hours in an atmosphere of NOat 20 ppm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
