Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and high durability showing little decrease in photoreceptivity even for repeated use and to provide a master printing plate for electrophotographic plate making excellent in electrostatic characteristics and printing characteristics and having enough sensitivity to directly produce a printing plate with laser or the like.
CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photoreceptive layer containing a disazo compd. expressed by formula I as a charge producing compd. on a conductive supporting body. The master printing plate for electrophotographic plate making uses this photoreceptor. In formula, A1-A8 are hydrogen, alkyl groups, etc., X is a group of atoms to form an aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring, Y is -CONR1R2, -COOR2, R1 is hyrogen, alkyl group, or aryl group, R2 is a group expressed by formula II, at least one of R3-R7 is -COOR8, -CONR9R10, -SO2R8, -SO3H, -SO2NR9R10, -NR9COR11, -NR9SO2 R11 and others are hydrogen or substituents, R8 is an alkyl group, etc., and R9-R11 are hydrogen, alkyl groups, etc.
