Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which offers superior wear resistance and high potential stability and is capable of preventing noise and cleaning failure.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor provided herein comprises a single-layered photosensitive layer provided on a conductive support body. The photosensitive layer comprises a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, a binder resin, a first particles made of a resin different from the binder resin, and inorganic second particles made of silica. Primary particles of the first particles has an average particle diameter in a range of 0.5 μm to 5 μm, inclusive, and primary particles of the second particles has an average diameter in a range of 7 nm to 0.5 μm, inclusive. Content of the first particles with respect to content of the binder resin is in a range of 1 mass% to 10 mass%, inclusive, while content of the second particles in the photosensitive layer with respect to content of the binder resin in the photosensitive layer is in a range of 1 mass% to 20 mass%. The photosensitive layer contains 1-10 mass%, inclusive, of a terphenyl compound with respect to content of the binder resin in the photosensitive layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
