Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in image deletion resistance and low torque while maintaining electrophotographic characteristics.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer and a protective layer as a surface layer in this order on a support. The development area ratio Sdr of a surface of the protective layer is 1.0% or more and 40.0% or less, and an A-value represented by a following formula (1) is 0.10 or more and 0.27 or less. The formula (1) is: A=S1/S2. (In the formula (1) above, of peak areas of spectra obtained by using Ge as an internal reflection element and using a measurement condition of 45° as an incident angle and by measuring the surface of the protective layer by the Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy total reflection method, S1 is a peak area based on C=C telescopic motion of an aromatic ring.
