Abstract:

To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can prevent a blur of dots forming an output image.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a cylindrical support and a photosensitive layer. A surface of the support is formed of Al and/or an Al alloy. The surface of the support is formed of crystal grains of Al having (α) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {001} orientation, (β) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {101} orientation, and (γ) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {111} orientation. The ratio of the area occupied by the crystal grains of Al having the (γ) to the total area of the surface of the support is 10% or less. The ratio between the area occupied by the crystal grains of Al having the (α) and the area occupied by the crystal grains of Al having the (β) exceeds 4/6 and less than 6/4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
