Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can prevent a photosensitive layer from being peeled off from a support and prevent a blur of dots forming an output image even when it is used after storage in a low temperature or high temperature environment.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor has a cylindrical support and a photosensitive layer. A surface of the support is formed of Al and/or an Al alloy. The surface of the support is formed of crystal grains of Al having (α) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {001} orientation, (β) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {101} orientation, and (γ) a surface of -15° or more and less than +15° in the {111} orientation. The ratio of the area occupied by the crystal grains of Al having the (α) to the total area of the surface of the support is 10% or less. The ratio of the area occupied by the crystal grains of Al having the (γ) to the total area of the surface of the support exceeds 10%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
