Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in sensitivity characteristics, filming resistance, and scratch resistance.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 comprises a conductive substrate 2 and a photosensitive layer 3. The photosensitive layer is a single layer and contains a charge generating agent, a hole transport agent, an electron transport agent, polyarylate resin, and a dispersion assistant. The charge generating agent includes titanyl phthalocyanine. The polyarylate resin includes repeating units (1), (2), and (3) of specific structures. The ratio n1/n2 of the number n1 of the repeating unit (1) to the number n2 of the repeating unit (2) is 1.0 or more.
