Abstract:
To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer that is less likely to be peeled off and excellent in wear resistance of the photosensitive layer.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive substrate and a laminated photosensitive layer having a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer. The charge transport layer contains polyester resin having a structure represented by the formula (1) at a terminal, and a charge transport material. When the weight average molecular weight Mw of the polyester resin is defined as A (10000), the ratio M1/M2 of the mass M1 of the charge transport material to the mass M2 of the charge transport layer as Cs, and the average thickness of the charge transport layer as Ds (μm), 7≤A≤40, 0.28≤Cs≤0.55, 27≤Ds≤50, and 5.0≤(A×Ds)/(Cs×100)≤70 are satisfied. In the formula (1), nd is an integer of 0 or more and 4 or less, Rd is each independently a hydrocarbon group having 1-4 carbon atoms, L is an ether bond or a -C(=O)- group, and * is a bonding part.SELECTED DRAWING: None
